Legal
Terms of use
These terms govern access to OFM Wiki and explain the limits of our independent software research and third-party links.
Acceptance and eligibility
These terms are effective July 17, 2026. By accessing or using OFM Wiki, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The site is intended for people who are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law. If you use the site for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Editorial information, not professional advice
OFM Wiki publishes independent editorial comparisons of third-party software. The content is provided for general informational purposes and is not legal, financial, tax, cybersecurity, employment, or other professional advice.
Rankings reflect the stated methodology, available primary sources, and editorial judgment at the time of review. A ranking is not a guarantee that a product will fit every creator, agency, jurisdiction, platform policy, or workflow.
Accuracy, pricing, and availability
We aim to identify the date on which material pricing and product information was checked. Vendors can change plans, promotions, features, policies, ownership, or platform support without notice. Confirm final terms, eligibility, security practices, and charges directly with the vendor before purchasing or connecting an account.
OFM Wiki may correct, update, reorder, expand, or remove content when better evidence becomes available. We do not promise that every page is complete, error-free, or continuously current.
Third-party products and links
OFM Wiki does not operate the products it reviews. Third-party websites, checkouts, downloads, APIs, and services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and security practices. Visiting a link or choosing a product creates no contract between you and OFM Wiki for that third-party service.
Product and platform names, logos, and trademarks are used only to identify the subjects of editorial coverage. They remain the property of their respective owners. Their use does not imply sponsorship, approval, or endorsement.
Commercial relationships
The Affiliate and Product Disclosures page describes the site's current affiliate, sponsorship, ownership, and vendor-access status. Where a specific article has a more detailed disclosure, that article disclosure controls for the recommendation in question.
Commercial relationships do not purchase a guaranteed rank and do not prevent material limitations from being reported.
Permitted use
You may read, link to, and share reasonable excerpts of OFM Wiki content for personal or internal business use with clear attribution and a link to the original page.
You may not:
- Use the site unlawfully, deceptively, or to violate another person's rights.
- Interfere with site operation, probe for vulnerabilities, bypass access controls, or introduce malicious code.
- Reproduce, republish, sell, scrape at disruptive volume, or create a competing database from substantial portions of the site without written permission.
- Misrepresent OFM Wiki content, remove attribution, or imply an endorsement or commercial relationship that does not exist.
Intellectual property
Except for third-party names, marks, quotations, and materials, the site's original editorial text, selection, organization, design, and code are owned by or licensed to OFM Wiki and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
No rights are granted except the limited permission to use the public site under these terms. Requests for broader reuse can be sent to [email protected].
Corrections and feedback
Factual corrections are welcome. Include the page, the statement at issue, and a primary source that supports the proposed change. Submitting feedback gives OFM Wiki permission to review, verify, edit, and use it without an obligation to publish or compensate the sender.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OFM Wiki is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, security, and accuracy, whether express, implied, or statutory.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded in your jurisdiction.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OFM Wiki and the people involved in publishing it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or account access arising from use of the site or a third-party product.
Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability arising from the site will not exceed the greater of 100 US dollars or the amount you paid directly to OFM Wiki for use of the site during the twelve months before the claim. The current public site is free to use.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify OFM Wiki and the people involved in publishing it against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the site, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or block access when reasonably necessary to protect the site, users, third parties, or legal rights. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and indemnification, will remain in effect.
Changes and disputes
These terms may be updated when the site, commercial model, or legal obligations change. Material updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply.
Before filing a formal claim, contact [email protected] with a description of the issue and requested resolution. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by a court with lawful jurisdiction. These terms do not waive non-waivable consumer rights or remedies.
General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without written consent; OFM Wiki may assign them in connection with a transfer of the site. These terms and the referenced policies form the entire agreement about use of the site.
